Heavy showers overnight became less frequent today, falling as snow above 900 metres. Unfortunately the cloud base was also around 900 metres with poor visibility above this.

As clear as it got while I was out today; looking into a snowy Coire Leis on Ben Nevis.

What could be seen of Coire na Ciste.

Thawing at lower levels on Ben Nevis.

There have been a couple of landslides on the lower slopes of Carn Beag Dearg. Not directly related to avalanches but both are often triggered by heavy rain. Photos below.
