Where does the snow go?

8th February 2022

Although we have had snow showers throughout the period there is little evidence of snow gathering in significant amounts, where perhaps you might expect it. Quite often, on very strong winds over 40-50 mph the snow struggles to get the chance to settle and deposit in lee areas, and just gets blown off the mountain. Today it felt and appeared to be one of those days.
