Covid-19
The Scottish Avalanche Information Service would recommend that those wishing to enjoy the winter mountains refer to Mountaineering Scotland and Scottish Government advice regarding Covid-19 and outdoor activities.
Overnight and through the morning fresh snow fell at most levels. Through the afternoon the precipitation became more showery as the freezing level creep up the hill. What did not change throughout the day was the poor visibility. There was plenty of snow blowing around and the cloud base remained around 750 metres through the day. This meant that at higher levels everything was pretty white looking.
Fresh snow at the top station at around 650 metres.
