Poor visibility

Strong West-North-West winds, snow showers and poor visibility today. It was slightly warmer than recent days and the snow lower down was wet and heavy. Very mixed conditions higher up with scoured areas and big drifts.

Poor visibility at 1200 metres on Aonach Mor.

Emerging from the cloud at around 850 metres in the Nevis Range ski area.

Snow slowly thawing at 650 metres. This is looking North to Sgurr Finnisg-aig.

Debris from the avalanche in Number 5 Gully on Ben Nevis yesterday.
