Better than forecast
21st March 2019
After some heavy overnight rain it was a dry morning with light South-Westerly winds. The cloud was coming and going giving periods of good visibility.
The snowpack is thawing and consolidating. There was a significant loss of snow overnight. It will remain warm tonight before the temperature starts dropping tomorrow.

Avalanche debris in Coire an Lochan, Aonach Mor. These avalanches occurred in the warm weather this week and were probably triggered by cornice collapse.

Looking down the Goose at Nevis Range. Still good snow cover high up, runs getting progressively narrower lower on the hill with some lower runs broken.
