A great winters day

10th February 2017

Finally the wind dropped!

With the cold temperatures you will find that the windslab is getting firmer on the surface but underneath, the cold temperatures are forming a layer of weaker snow. The distribution of this snow is quite variable but its worth having a look at if you find any.

The hard windslab will support your weight in places but bear in mind that it is often being supported by a very weak layer of snow!
