The (relative) calm between two storms

Well, at least it was easier to stand up today. Some fresh snowfall but its not going to last! Warm again on Xmas day, before colder on Boxing Day.
On the plus side, these brief thaw/freeze cycles are great for building up the snow base. Also, there are some encouraging signs of ice smears forming….
