Poor visibility again.

7th April 2016

Another cloudy day on the tops. It was only five days ago (the 2nd of April) that the summit was clear, but it feels a lot longer. For a short time this morning it felt like it might try to clear, but it didn’t. Maybe tomorrow?

A member of Nevis Range ski patrol. This was the best visibility all day, and shows the good snow cover that exists above about 800 metres.

IMGP0772

Easy Gully. The higher crags are still holding a lot of snow.

Snow conditions are good for ski touring high up. Unfortunately the visibility was not.
