It turned out to be a lovely sunny day on the highest tops today. It was also feeling pretty warm in the sunshine at that level.

Significant cornices remain, some of the these were drooping a bit in the warm sunshine.

The snowpack is quite variable. In some locations icy rime from yesterday has formed an crust on the snowapck.
