Overnight snowfall.

29th January 2015

There was a fair bit for fresh snow down to almost sea level during the night. This caused some traffic problems first thing. On the hill things are pretty hard going on foot unless you are on a scoured ridge. There were plenty of fresh, fragile looking cornices and I imagine quite a few natural avalanches. Unfortunately it did not quite clear enough to get a good view into any of the coires, to see what had come down.

It tried to clear, but this was about as good as it got. Plenty of fresh snow.
