Poor Visibility

10th March 2020

After a mild night it was slowly turned colder through the day. The wet snowpack was beginning to freeze up.  Showers turned from rain to snow. The cloud was down giving poor visibility. Plenty of avalanche debris about, but hard to see today.  Looks like further snow showers over the next day or so.

A hole in snow down to the burn. The snowpack has suffered a bit in the mild conditions over the past few days.

Poor visibility at 1200 metres.
