Grey Corries and Ben Nevis
1st April 2024
Todays observations were from the Grey Corries. The cloud came in just as I reached my high point, thankfully it lifted again soon after to give some good views.
Greatest snow accumulations exist in high North and East facing Corries, however a thin covering of snow is present on many aspects above around 950 metres and this is likely to refreeze and become firm under foot in many locations.
Light scattered showers through Tuesday will be rain at most levels with some summit snow. Showers forecast to continue through Wednesday then becoming drier on Thursday.
Photos also sent in from an off duty forecaster on Ben Nevis.
