Slightly less misty today on Aonach Mor, but still very much winter aloft. Some sleet and snow overnight resulted in a crusty, and in some places, frozen snow surface which changes the feel of the last few days.

In terms of snowpack stability, no change is expected with a firm and consolidated snowpack. This is generally very stable at the moment, but we could be looking at a change later in the week as a colder airmass moves in.

Rime ice close to the summit plateau on Aonach Mor. There are still some large cornices about and caution is advised when near the corrie rim (as pictured).

Looking down towards Sgurr Finniosgaig from the Aonach Mor ski area. Although the snowpack is increasingly patchy lower down, these ribbons of snow are hanging in there along the snow fences.
