Cornices.

There are some significant cornices at the top of gullies and slopes at the moment.
Some substantial lumps of cornices have already fallen off, other bits are waiting to go. You would not want to get hit by a block like this tumbling down this hillside.
A natural avalanche that probably released last night.
Through the morning the wind was rising starting to blow spindrift about.
