A wild day on the hill

A fairly blustery day on Ben Nevis today in the strong South-Easterly wind. It proved reasonably challenging getting as far as the CIC hut due to strong wind gusts and spindrift!

I think there are 5 ptarmigan in that photo!

After a fair bit of discussion amongst the SAIS forecasters, we also came to the conclusion there were 5 Ptarmigan.
