Wet and Windy

There was a colder period overnight with snow falling down to 700m. The temperature quickly rose again this morning with heavy rain and strong winds (gusting over 100mph on Aonach Mor). It’s due to get cold again overnight and tomorrow with more snow and lighter winds.
Last nights snow melting quickly at 750 metres.
Some sloughing of the fresh surface layer.
Rivers and burns in spate today.
Ben Nevis was looking black yesterday.
