Fresh snow

Today saw some fresh snowfall at most levels. Overnight there is further snow showers expected with strong NW winds. This will produce localised areas of windslab in sheltered locations mainly above 800m.
The weather is expected to clear by first light and Friday should be dry and sunny with light winds. It will remain cold
An avalanche report has been issued for Friday. This can be seen on the main SAIS website
