Views of Ben Nevis
31st March 2024
Todays observations were from Carn Mor Dearg with some fantastic views to Ben Nevis. It was a dry, cloudy day with some sunshine and moderate South-Easterly winds.
A colder forecast for tomorrow with the snow surface expected to refreeze above around 1000 metres. Slightly colder again on Tuesday and Wednesday with the possibility of some snow showers.

Many cornices remain on Ben Nevis and will be prone to collapse in mild temperatures particularly where in the sun. This is above the central gully area in Coire na Ciste.

Aonach Beag on the left, Carn Mor Dearg on the right with some minor roller ball activity visible on the slope in the sun.
