Another dry day

14th March 2024

After some overnight rain which fell as snow above around 1100 metres it was a dry day. New snow amounts were slight and were consolidating as the temperature rose slightly during the day. The older snowpack was very firm above 1100 metres. Showers are forecast for tomorrow which should fall as snow above around 700 metres.
