Ben Nevis

Today was a dry cloudy day with light winds and some showers which fell as snow above around 900 metres. There were breaks in the cloud and occasional sunshine which gave some good views of Ben Nevis showing current snow cover and some recent avalanche activity.

Surface instability on an East aspect on Carn Mor Dearg today. This was taken at around 1100 metres. Further surface instabilities possible tomorrow, particularly on Ben Nevis which saw a lot less sun today.
