It was another beautiful bright sunny cold day in Lochaber.

(Above) Stob an Chul-choire ridge and Aonach Mor East slopes. From Roybridge.

(Above) Weakness due to the formation of sugar-like facets in the snowpack. In this case in very shallow snow with a very steep temperature gradient.
