Mild and Damp.

17th December 2020

It was a mild, damp and (at least while I was on the hill) a cloudy day. It did clear up a bit later on.  The freezing level was just above the highest summits. There is little snow below 800 metres, and pretty good cover above about 1050 metres. It is forecast to be even warmer tomorrow before things gradually cool down over the weekend.

Looking across Easy Gully to the rocks on the other side.

The top of Easy Gully. A bit hard to make out in the flat light, but there is a bit of a cornice.
