Blue Cloud!

A new phenomenon today in Lochaber – Strange blue cloud and a yellow bright thing in the sky. And you could stand up without fear of being blown away! It felt all a bit unnerving, but Im sure it won’t last too long!
There is a frozen rime crust on much of the snowpack at higher elevations and some old frozen snow lower down

Poor visibility at times at mid elevations

Riming on the summit plateau
Looking down Easy Gully, Aonach Mor. These steep East aspects have softened in the direct sun
