A day of many Photos

19th January 2019

It was a lovely day on the hill today with a spectacular cloud inversion, light winds and some warm sunshine from time to time. As the name suggests I did take quite a few pictures today, and then had some extra ones sent in from colleague in Arasaig. Not looking so photogenic for the next few days. Hopefully will get some snow though!

A lone walker above a sea of cloud.

Looking over to Aonach Beag. Unsurprisingly there looked to be little ice on the crags.

Ben Nevis and Carn Mor Dearg.

The South side of Coire an Lochan. Although hard to see in this picture there were a couple of teams out climbing on a couple of the steeper buttress routes (Stirling Bridge and Piranha).

The North side of Coire an Lochan.

Surface hoar glinting in the sun light.
