Drier than expected.

It was a dry and mild morning on Aonach Mor. However, it did not stay dry with some rain during the afternoon. At higher levels things are looking pretty wintry despite yesterday and today’s mild temperatures. It had been a bit cooler overnight and there were some fresh accumulations at higher levels. Looks to be turning colder over the next couple of days, which is expected to firm up the snowpack.
Abseiling into Easy Gully. There are some substantial cornices about at the moment.
