Challenging morning

Strong winds, heavy snow and low temperatures gave difficult working conditions on Aonach Mor this morning. Conditions improved in the afternoon.
Poor visibility at 1200 metres.
Very wintery at 650 metres.
Conditions improved in the afternoon once I was off the hill. Still windy though.

Looks like a lot of the snow has blown over in Coire an Lochain? Scoured looking higher up.

Yes, a lot of snow accumulating in the East and North-East facing corries. The following day a 180 degree change in wind direction caused further redistribution. Interestingly this seemed to have much more effect on Ben Nevis than on Aonach Mor.
