Some more snow.

5th February 2017

There was some fresh snow through the day today. Throughout the recent snowfall the wind has been from the South. That means that while there is a fair bit of snow on Northerly aspects, some Easterly aspects which normally collect the snow quite well are scoured.

The summit run has caught the snow quite well. A couple of days ago there was essentially no snow here.

Coire Dubh from the back track winching tower. Facing East this has not done so well out of the recently snow, and it still pretty rocky looking.

Icicles forming at an angle due to the wind.
