Sub-Optimal Start to the Season.

16th December 2016

I think that it would be fair to say that winter conditions are currently less-than-optimal. This morning snow was  only really found at the tops of North and East aspects above 1100 meters. There was a dusting of fresh snow during the afternoon.

The top of Spikes Gully, Aonach Mor (altitude 1200 meters)

The top of Right Twin, Aonach Mor.

The top of Easy Gully.

There was a dusting of fresh snow above 900m during the afternoon.
