Wet snow

There was a significant overnight melt at lower levels and areas which only had a thin cover of snow are now bare. Higher up the snow has become wet and heavy but there has been very little snow loss. A warmer and wetter period tonight will cause snow loss at all levels but fresh snow is then expected again tomorrow.
