Winter clings on.

It definitely felt pretty wintery at higher levels today. The spring snowpack froze overnight, and slowly softened through the day. With the forecast remaining cold it looks like winter could hang on for a good while yet on the tops.

Still plenty of cornices about, many of which are likely to collapse when the temperature does eventually rise significantly.
