Very windy

Heavy overnight rain has removed a fair bit of snow and areas that had a thin cover are now bare. It was very windy with gusts of 109mph on the summit and 90mph at 650metres. Drier than expected with showers of graupel which were not pleasant. Where this accumulates it will become a weak layer below tomorrow’s expected snow.
Many areas now bare, but more snow expected.
