Busy/Quiet Half-Term on the Hill.

15th February 2016

Lots of people took advantage of the half term holidays and the good weather to be on the hill today. However, you didn’t have to go far off the beaten track to find some peace and quite.

With the cold weather of the past few days strong temperature gradients have started to form facets with in the snowpack. It will be interesting to see the development of the snowpack with arrival of the mild and damp conditions tomorrow.
