After some very warm temperatures yesterdya, winter made a reappearance today. It was snowing in the Nevis Range carpark this morning. When we got up the hill strong winds and heavy snow showers made detailed observation of the snowpack rather tricky. However, this is one of the challenges of working in Scotland. Unfortunately mild conditions and rain are expected to return this weekend.
