Lovely Views.

10th January 2018

It was an atmospheric day with the cloud coming and going at higher levels.  There was some great views from the summit plateau, but as soon as I dropped down to the col between Aonach Mor and Aonach Beag the cloud came in. Yesterdays higher temperature have consolidated the snowpack at lower levels. At high levels there are still some patches of windslab about.

Atmospheric light in Coire an Lochan.

Looking South to Aonach Beag from near the summit of Aoanch Mor.

Cloudy out to the East.

A walker enjoying great views out to Carn Mor Dearg and Ben Nevis.
