Another Day or South-Easterlies

29th January 2026

Another day with a strong South-Easterly wind. The tops were in the cloud, and there were a few light snow showers on the hills during the day. Any from the hills the glens spells of sunshine. I was on Ben Nevis today, not much change to 3 days ago when I had been up, a lot of the photos in this post are very similar to those posted the in the blog three days ago. Looks like more of the same tomorrow.

Carn Dearg Buttress, not looking too different to before Tuesday’s storm (see blog post for 26th Jan).

Looking up into the back of Coire na Ciste.

North-East Buttress round to just beyond Point Five Gully.

On the way back down the hill a bit of a snow shower. However still some blue sky visible.
