Windslab development

Overnight snowfall above around 850m and gale force mainly South-Westerly winds had deposited unstable windslab in sheltered locations. Greatest accumulations lie on North-West through North to East aspects above 950 metres. Drifting continued through the day onto these aspects. This windslab will persist tomorrow.
Aonach Mor NW slopes
New accumulation of windslab behind a snowfence at 1100m on Aonach Mor.
A short bright spell to the NW.
Some drifting visible during a brighter spell as I headed down.
