Thawing

It was a warm, wet and windy day with a temperature around 4 degrees Celsius at 1200 metres. The snowpack was thawing and has become very patchy.
Patchy snow cover, here on a West-North-West aspect.
A well bonded snowpack with a very obvious layer of slush at the bottom of it.
