A stormy day

19th January 2024

It was a stormy day in Lochaber. There was significant drifting of snow on the hills, blown by gale force West-South-Westerly winds. Greatest accumulations of unstable windslab are on North through East to South-East aspects above 800m.

Tomorrow, further snowfall (or rain), a rising freezing level and gale or stronger winds will make this situation worse.
