Low cloud

2nd April 2023

A little drizzle and very light winds today. The freezing level rose above the summits during the day. After an overnight refreezing of the snowpack surface it softened again today. Not a great day for photos but a few below showing what could be seen of conditions on Ben Nevis.

Looking up Observatory Gully.

Looking up the Allt a’ Mhuilinn. Most of the snow hidden in the cloud.

The Douglas Boulder through the murk.
