Above the Cloud

5th January 2019

The higher hills of Lochaber were large enough to break through a sea of cloud. There were some layers of higher cloud, but there was some periods of hazy sunshine. There is a very slight dusting of fresh snow at higher levels. The freezing level was around 750 metres through most of the day. The old snowpack is hard and icy, but quite limited in extent.
