Wet!

22nd January 2018

It has been a fairly wet 24 hours in Lochaber with the freezing level settling at around 900m since later yesterday afternoon. Starting to thaw at lower elevations but still some challenging underfoot conditions travelling above 300m.

Compare this to yesterdays photo in the same place. Be fair to say that its starting to thaw!

General view up towards the CIC hut

Still ice on the lower crags

Perfect Post- hole conditions!

Much better with snowshoes!
