Coire Dubh

Today the Nevis range ski patrol accomapined us to have a look at the back coires of Aonach Mor, to see if it was possible to open them for skiing. As seen in the picture of Coire Dubh, there was plenty of avalanche activity there, some very fragile cornices and lots more fresh unstable snow blowing in. The coires remained closed.
