Happy New Year

It was a windy start to 2022 with strong and gusty winds even at lower elevations. It was also very mild with a temperature of 6.4 degrees at 1200 metres on Aonach Mor this morning. It was dry apart from an occasional heavy shower.
The freezing level is due to drop to around 1200 metres tonight with colder conditions arriving on Monday.
The snow cover is currently limited and patchy as the photos below from Ben Nevis show.
