It was a cloudy morning on the hills in Lochaber. Around the middle of the day it started to clear on Aonach Mor, although the cloud was still coming and going a bit during the early afternoon. The snowfall, variable winds and cold conditions since Christmas mean that at higher levels everything to is looking pretty white.  Travel can be hard work on foot.

Coire an Lochan. The cloud was trying to clear.

The top of the summit tow. At higher levels things tend to be well rimed up.

Carn Mor Dearg with Ben Nevis behind.

When I got down Aonach Mor was holding on to it’s cloud cap. It did clear up properly later in the afternoon.

However, Ben Nevis was clear. The crags are looking pretty plastered at higher levels.
