Today was mild, wet and windy with poor visibility. The snowpack was slowly thawing.
There should be a significant change to conditions tomorrow with colder conditions freezing the existing wet snowpack and a little fresh snow.
The ptarmigan are starting to change to summer plumage.
Snow at 650 metres on Aonach Mor. Around 50 metres walking interrupted the ski down to this level.
