Spring Snow

15th February 2019

It was a warm, dry, clear, windy morning. It got cloudier as the day went on.

Despite very warm summit temperatures in the early part of the night the snowpack surface had hardened. It softened during the day especially on aspects in the sun to give surprisingly good skiing conditions.

Several pictures of Ben Nevis included to show conditions on the upper part of the North face.
