Clearing up.

7th February 2019

It started off quite a great and cloudy day. Around midday the cloud cleared to give an hour or so of sunshine before it clouded over again. The wind rose through the day, causing some drifting of the snow. Looking pretty wild weather wise tomorrow.

The view East across the Grey Corries as the cloud clears.

Blue skies, but cornices continuing to grow from the drifting snow.

Aonach Beag.

The cornice at the top of Easy gully seems to be a vertical wall of snow. What looks small old crown wall can be seen on the left of the picture in the shadow.

Above and below; One of the local hill users enjoying the snow.
