Beautiful Morning

28th January 2019

It was a cold day with a summit temperature this morning of -7 Celsius. Although the wind wasn’t strong there was enough to add some windchill and made it feel very cold at times. Out of the wind and in the sun it felt warm. It was dry while I was out with some snow showers in the afternoon.

Not much change in the snowpack since yesterday, although a better day to see it today.

Soft unconsolidated snow is on many aspects at lower levels.
