White

4th April 2018

Significant overnight snowfall with moderate to strong winds have deposited deep accumulations of unstable windslab in many sheltered areas.  It was hard going on foot today with much knee deep snow and some thigh deep drifts.  Visibility was not good at higher levels and on the plateau it was full whiteout conditions.

Aonach Mor plateau. There is a marker post out there somewhere……… (almost dead centre)

A break in the cloud permitted this view on my descent: looking down The Goose to Nevis Range Top Station.
