Tops in the cloud

7th April 2017

It was another cloudy day with the summits mostly in the cloud. At times the cloud base came down to around 600 metres. It was generally dry with moderate South-Westerly winds and the freezing level  around the height of the higher summits. The limited snowpack remains generally stable.

Similar conditions expected tomorrow with the temperature rising through the day.
